Stove Top Grilled Corn

Buttery grilled corn with Parmesan cheese and chives.
Ingredients
4 ears of corn with husks refrigerated
1 tbsp olive oil
butter
salt
black pepper
Parmesan cheese
chives
Preparation
Step 1
Pull ears of corn from refrigerator. Pull back husks and remove silk. Trim husks shorter for grilling or remove husks completely.
Step 2
Coat corn with butter. Sprinkle corn with salt and black pepper.
Step 3
Coat cast iron grilling pan with olive oil. Heat grilling pan on stove at medium-high heat.
Step 4
Grill corn for 10-15 minutes, turning when cooked and slightly charred, until corn is cooked completely. Use a cast iron press for a more even char.


Step 5
Remove corn from grill pan, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and chives.

Notes
Be cautious when grilling corn, with husks, on an open flame. If cooking on an actual outdoor grill, soak ears of corn in cold water for 3 - 6 hours first.
