My town kicked off the holiday season with the annual tree lighting in the town square. Lots of people, music, food and even Santa made an appearance. It was great to see so many families there on a Friday night.
These types of nightly events are a great way to practice without a flash. A flash would have canceled much of the holiday lighting and the glow surrounding the tree. Not to mention, it's also a bit annoying for others trying to enjoy the moment. It was a good refresher on holding my camera as still as possible and working my settings. I touched up the noise in Lightroom.
