Mocha Chocolate Syrup

When working with client, Artifex Coffees, I used their Forge coffee in my brownie recipe to enhance the chocolate flavor. While shooting the brownie set up, I felt I needed sauce to pour over the ice cream topped tower of chocolate. Here is a simple recipe that can be made in about 15 minutes.



This is a really rich syrup that can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for a week. It's great over ice cream, in coffee drinks, hot chocolate, and of course, chocolate milk.

Ingredients you'll need...

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup of brewed coffee (I love Artifex!)

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
