While looking back through my archives over the weekend, I came across this shoot with Richard Prince, professional motorsports photographer for GM, at Sebring in 2016. Richard let me tag along for his on-track shoot with Corvette.
Setting up and testing.
It was quite the production...coordinating track time at the end of the day, amount of gear set up on track, getting the drivers (and cars) there with a limited window of light. Not to mention, working up against a very busy driver PR schedule. It was impressive and a lot of hard work even though he makes it look easy.
The driver's loved the car.
I snapped a few photos during the process. I learned a lot and got a kick out of watching the drivers with the new Corvette that GM was revealing that weekend. It was obvious that everyone at the shoot loved cars, especially the Corvette.
Richard is known for his amazing sunset shots with race cars and street cars. He has published three books and his work has been utilized by over 400 publications in more than 80 countries around the world. I urge you to visit his website and see more of his incredible work.
